Overview

One&Only Palmilla rests on the tip of the Baja Peninsula where the azure ocean greets the mountainous desert terrain. The intimate resort was founded in 1956 by Don Abelardo Rodriguez, son of General Abelardo Rodriguez the interim president of Mexico, and has been a favorite retreat for the likes of Hemingway and Harlow. In January 2004 following an $80 million investment, One&Only Palmilla begins a new era as the quintessential embodiment of elegance. One&Only Palmilla is situated on a 250-acre portion of a 900-acre, master-planned community that includes a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and one of the few swimmable beaches in the destination.
